Barker Central School District

Barker Central School District, located in Niagara County, New York, serves approximately 650 students offering a close-knit educational environment focused on academic achievement and community values. The district emphasizes respect, compassion, and lifelong learning, with strategic goals aimed at improving literacy and student engagement. Barker is a rural community on the southern shore of Lake Ontario, known for its scenic beauty and agricultural character. The District spans about 76 square miles and includes the Village of Barker as its main residential and service hub, while landmarks like Thirty Mile Point Lighthouse highlight its historical charm. Small-town living with access to outdoor recreation and a strong sense of community define the Barker Learning Community.

The Lockport City School District, located in Niagara County in Western New York, serves approximately 4,600 students, including out-of-district placements, and is supported by nearly 900 dedicated employees. Rooted in the historic City of Lockport—home to a close-knit community of about 20,000 residents—the district offers a comprehensive continuum of programs, including Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) for its youngest learners, multiple elementary schools, a junior high school, Lockport High School, and alternative education programming for students in grades 7–12. Guided by its mission to foster a sense of belonging and create opportunities for continuous growth for all, the district’s vision is to be an innovative learning community that empowers every student with the essential skills needed for success today and tomorrow. The district’s core beliefs—high expectations, equitable access, belonging, strong communication and community partnerships, and safety—are reflected in its motto, “We Are Lions. Newfane Central School District

Newfane Central School District is located in northern Niagara County along the shores of Lake Ontario. The district is composed of residents from the towns of Newfane, Lockport, Wilson and Cambria. The town of Newfane encompasses the hamlets of Appleton, Burt, Olcott and Wrights Corners. Newfane is a rural community with many vibrant small businesses and robust agriculture and fishing industries.  The district operates a full-day Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program and has a PK-12 enrollment of 1315. The Panther school community has unwavering support for its students and programs and embodies the district motto of  "Together We Can."

Niagara Falls City School District

The Niagara Falls City School District(NFCSD) services over 7000 students across 11 schools and two Head Start locations. The district employs a staff of 1507 who work within a 16 mile city radius. NFCSD is considered one of 57 small city school districts and has a budget of over $202 million dollars for the 2025-26 school year. Niagara Falls High School educating 2000 students is the largest standalone high school in Western New York.  The 2024-25 graduation rate sits at 86%. The district has an 82% poverty rate and is a community eligibility district. A nine member school board governs the district with each member serving a five year term. These terms are staggered so that each year two seats are up for election and every five years one seat is available. The district motto is ‘Learning for all , whatever it takes.”

Niagara Wheatfield Central School District

Niagara Wheatfield Central School District comprises four (4) towns – Town of Wheatfield, Town of Niagara, Town of Lewiston, and the Town of Cambria.  Our K-12 enrollment is just under 3,200 students.  The District has four (4) elementary schools – Colonial Village Elementary School, West Street Elementary School, Errick Road Elementary School, and the Tuscarora Indian Elementary School.  The District has one middle school (Edward Town Middle School) and one high school.  In addition to the core academic programs, we are very proud of the variety and quality of our extra-curricular activities.  We are in the final stages of our 2022 Capital Project, which included upgrades to our STEM rooms and auditorium.  The District is guided by our Comprehensive District Educational Planning (CDEP) goals, which then inform our Comprehensive School Educational Planning (CSEP) goals.

North Tonawanda City School District

The North Tonawanda City School District is located between Buffalo and Niagara Falls at the historic junction of the Erie Barge Canal and the Niagara River. Our community is known for its small-town charm and strong sense of pride, and our schools reflect that spirit by providing a high- quality education for approximately 3,100 students in grades K–12. We offer a Universal Pre-K program and serve students through three K–3 elementary buildings, an intermediate school, a middle school, and a high school.

Orleans/Niagara BOCES serves 13 school districts and approximately 30,000 students across 769 square miles spanning Orleans and Niagara counties. As the regional service agency, ON BOCES expands opportunities for students and districts by delivering high-quality career and technical education, innovative special education and alternative programs, professional learning, and comprehensive operational services.

Through strong collaboration and cost-effective service models, ON BOCES helps districts access programs that would be difficult to offer alone, ensuring equity, efficiency, and excellence across our region. Together with our component districts, we prepare students for college, career, and lifelong success while strengthening the workforce and communities of Western New York.

Royalton-Hartland Central School District

The Royalton-Hartland Central School District is a close-knit, family friendly community located along the Erie Canal at the eastern edge of Niagara County. The District encompasses approximately 81 square miles over portions of 6 townships. The majority of residents live in the towns of Royalton and Hartland, which include the hamlet of Gasport and the village of Middleport. The District is situated in a rural location only an hour from Rochester and Buffalo, with many farms and small family-owned businesses. We host approximately 1100 students in our full-day Pre-K through 12 grade with robust academic programs including over 15 college level offerings as well as orchestra, band, vocal jazz, and CTE certifications in both agriculture and business.

Starpoint Central School District

Starpoint Central School District is located in Niagara County and serves residents from the towns of Pendleton, Cambria, Royalton, Lockport, and Wheatfield. Their #OneStarpoint philosophy emphasizes their role as the “hub” of the community and their strong partnerships among schools, families, and the broader community. Starpoint offers a full continuum of educational programs from Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12, serving approximately 3,000 students. The district is dedicated to its mission to provide a safe, nurturing, academically challenging, and equitable experience that inspires all students to achieve their maximum potential.

Wilson Central School District

Wilson Central School District is located in northern Niagara County along the southern shores of Lake Ontario. The district serves residents from the towns of Wilson, Ransomville, Newfane, Cambria, Lockport, and Porter. The town of Wilson encompasses the village of Wilson and the surrounding rural communities. Wilson is a rural community with a strong sense of local pride, supported by active small businesses, agriculture, and recreation along Lake Ontario. The district operates a full-day Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program and serves students in grades PK–12, with a total enrollment of approximately 950. The Wilson school community is deeply committed to its students and programs, exemplifying the district’s motto of “Where Children Succeed.”
